Kitchens and Equipment "Food Safety First"

Wicked Foods have a commercial kitchen at Lane Cove. The kitchen is fully licensed and is regularly inspected by Lane Cove Council. Meeting all health, safety and work cover requirements. Last inspection in March 2007.

All kitchen equipment is designed around the gastronorm system, resulting in a high level of compatibility. We use top quality food equipment incl. such names as Brice, Anvil and Hobart. We have a range of Salva electric ovens and use a system of insulated ‘Decor hot bags ’ to transport hot food safely , backed up by refrigerated vehicles. The company has extensive catering cooking equipment as well as table linen, china, cutlery and glassware .

Food and beverage system

In the food and beverage department, we have developed a "one person " solution which enables the client to deal with "one person" , from the initial enquiry, quoting, booking through to the final invoicing. The system provides the personal touch which is critical to, foods requested, food trends, sales and client history.

Client privacy statement

All client information that is given to us by existing clients or client enquiries are for use by the company only and are intended for use in the execution of catering enquiries, booked events and marketing material such as Wicked Foods e-letters. Any information supplied by you is also used for the purpose of communicating with you for any catering service supplied by the company. All client information that is retained by us is in a database format and no other party has access to this information. Wicked Foods has a commitment to protect client information held by us and respects client privacy at all times.

Staff

You are only as good as the staff that employ. At Wicked Foods, we have excellent staff that, believe it or not really enjoy what they do. We have a very low staff turnover rate and we all have fun going about our daily duties. Staff training and development is a priority of Wicked Foods and we have an ongoing commitment to train staff and develop their skills by attending courses held by Lane Cove Council & The Bean Alliance. All catering staff have attended at some time in our employ a Food safety and handling course.
